The Beauchamp Family in Witches of East End

Witchology

Witches have featured throughout history just as much as Werewolves, if not more. From the Bible, to Salem, to present day, witches have always been a subject of controversy.

The most famous witchcraft tale is that of Salem. Nearly two hundred men, women and children were accused of witchcraft.
Hysteria was the main cause, with neighbour turning on neighbour.

Many successful TV shows have featured witches including Bewitched, Charmed and most recently Witches of East End.

Most witches featured in books and on TV have spellcasting abilities as well as their own unique powers such as teleknesis, levitation, psychic abilities and pyroknesis.

Witchcraft is mostly a family affair with abilities being hertitary.
